Clark, letterpress paper badly foxed in places, cont. straight-grain mid-brown morocco, spines with wide low raised bands with gilt fasces decoration, gilt lettered direct in second and fourth compartments, remainder filled with gilt tools (palmettes, volutes, acanthus, leaves, dots, roundels), sides panelled with outer border and large lozenge, outer border with blind rules, narrow gilt chevron, blind strapwork, and palmette rolls, lozenge border connected at its points to outer border and in the same style but with blind scrolling vine foliage roll at inner edge, central roll on turn-ins, red endpapers, a.e.g. small scuff to lower board of vol.
