London: Printed for the author, by Preston & Son, 4to (325 x 240 mm), engraved title, 2 leaves of letterpress list of subscribers, followed by 59pp., of engraved music, titlepage a little browned and frayed to blank margins, stitched in near contemporary plain wrappers. Charles Hague (1769–1821) was an English violinist and composer, who became professor of music at Cambridge University. Provenance: Ink signature to upper cover and verso of terminal leaf "Samuel Leader, High Street, Cottenham, Cambridgeshire, this 28th day of June 1882."
