Dawson, First edition, 12mo (195 x 120 mm), [4], v, 151pp., large paper copy, engraved frontispiece view of Holkham offset onto title-page, light browning and damp staining throughout, bookplate and booksellers typed description pasted onto front endpapers, recent half morocco, marbled boards, spine gilt tooled, untrimmed. A typical house guide of the period, but one which attempts to describe the contents, many of which still remain at Holkham. Holmes, p.135; Cooper II, pp.140-41.
