LINCOLNSHIRE INDENTURE OF FEOFFMENT.. Deed of Feoffment dated 31 July 1649 between (1) William Woodrofe of Bitchfield, Lincs, gent and Edward Wodroffe of Bitchfield son and heir apparent of said William Woodrofe yeoman and (2) Nicholas Parker of Skillington, Lincs, chandler witnesseth that (1) in consideration of £320 paid by (2) has given granted bargained aliened sold and enfeoffed to (2) all that their messuage farm or tenement with appurtenances (Hammar Close only excepted) situate in Skillington in the tenure of William Woodruffe and all those lands thereunto belonging containing six oxgangs with appurtenances all which were purchased by William Woodroffe at two several times namely two parts of three parts of Robert Woodroffe of Denton, Lincs, yeoman, and the third part was afterwards purchased of William Woodroffe of Skillington yeoman, to have and to hold to (2) with usual covenants. Endorsed with livery of seisin witnessed by Valentine Moulton, John Hourst?, John Parkins, John Parkins junior, Richard Parker.1649
