Alfred John Dunkin (1812–1879), printer and antiquary. "In 1831 he entered his father's printing and stationery business at Bromley, Kent, and in 1837 moved with him to Dartford, where he continued as a printer and wholesale stationer until his death... He belonged to numerous archaeological societies, and was among the first members of the British Archaeological Association, to which, in its early days, he gave some assistance as a printer."—(ODNB).
