Crees, Folio (320 x 200 mm), [2], viii, 33, [3]pp., text in double columns, this being the variant edition with engraved vignette of the Broadway Tower above the imprint, closed tear to lower blank margin of signature D, bound in contemporary half green calfskin and Middle Hill boards for Phillipps by George Bretherton, his binder's ticket "Bretherton, Ligavit, 1850" pasted on the inside front cover, a nice copy. Christopher Merrett's translation of Neri's famous book on the manufacture of glass which was first published in 1662. The present edition, edited by Phillipps, was printed by F. T. G.
