London: Published by William Heinemann Ltd., First edition, 4to (285 x 225 mm), one of 210 hand-number copies, this being no. 11, 8 full-page woodcut illustrations with text written by Nash and printed in a facsimile of his handwriting, orig. publisher's cloth-backed decorated boards, dust-wrapper, boards a little rubbed with faint tide mark to outer upper corner, dust-wrapper soiled with short tears and chipping to outer edges. One of the most important English artists of the 20th century, Nash was also a pioneer of Modernism in Britain and promoted Abstraction and Surrealism in the 1920s and 1930's. This copy is especially desirable as it has the very rare dust-wrapper.
