Johnson, engraver, First edition, 2 parts in one, 12mo (180 x 110 mm), iv, [4], [7]-110 + 28 [adverts]pp., title vignette, 40 engraved plates, 2 folding maps, orig. publisher's printed boards, a little soiled, spine slightly chipped. Provenance: Maggs Bros. pencil not to front paste-down 'Ex Sir Thomas Phillipps Library, Middle Hill', with Sir Thomas' Ms. press-mark in pencil to front free-endpaper. Rare; Copac locates the British Library copy (lacking part two) and a copy at Townend (National Trust).
