London: Henry G. Bohn, 3 parts (of 5) in one, each part with separate title-page, folio (480 x 350 mm), [6]; 33-37, [1]pp., with additional etched title and dedication leaf, 60 etched plates; [2], 23, [1]pp., 50 etched plates; [2], 22pp., 50 etched plates, cont. green half morocco, marbled boards, slightly rubbed but a very good copy indeed. "Promised in ten quarterly parts of six plates each, the first in January 1812, publication of this work was much delayed. The plates in fact appeared only sporadically, the work being finally completed over three and a half years behind schedule."—RIBA. Bohn acquired the plates for this collection of Cotman's etchings in 1836 and commissioned Thomas Rickman to supply descriptions and enlarge upon Dawson Turner's commentary.
