Volume 4, containing the Latin translation has title: Aristophanis Comoediae in Latinum sermonem conversae. Tomus I.[-III] Argentorati, Apud Bauer & Treuttel, 1781. 3 v. in 1 (each of these volumes has separate dated t.p., pagination and register), Engraved armorial vignette on t.p.s to all volumes, Vol. 1 has engraved frontispiece (N. Guibal inv. Chris. Guerin. sculp.). Tail-pieces. Provenance: Green morocco bookplate stamped in gilt with initials 'DCD' below a Cockerell; From the library of Charles Butler (1821-1910), Warren Wood in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. The majority of the library was sold at Sotheby's, London, on 5 April 1911.
